Step 1: Select the Settings icon on your home screen
Step 2: Select Mail, Click on Accounts
Step 3: Tap Add account and select Other
Step 4: Select Add Mail Account
Step 5: Enter your Name, Email & Password and then Click next
Step 6:  Select IMAP. Scroll down to Incoming Mail Server and enter the following information:
  • Hostname: imap.mai.att.net
  • Username: email
  • Password: your email password

Step 7: Scroll down to Outgoing Mail Server and enter the following information:
Step 8: Ensure that the User Name is the full email address. 
        User Name & Password are the same for both Incoming & Outgoing servers.
  • Incoming Mail Server Host Name is imap.comcast.net
  • Outgoing Mail Server Host Name is smtp.comcast.net

Step 9:  you can click Continue or tap "Details"
Step 10: Choose the SMTP server
Step 11: Check the SMTP settings and click done
  • Outgoing Mail Server Host Name for COMCAST.NET is smtp.comcast.net
  • User Name: Full COMCAST.NET email address
  • Password: Your email password

Step 12: Use SSL is on. You turn it off and use the correct Port number as below.
    Incoming Mail Server Port Number:
  • ·        Recommended: 993 with SSL ON
  • ·        Only if Needed: 143 with SSL ON

  Outgoing Mail Server Port Number:
  • ·        Recommended: 587 (SMTP)
  • ·        Only if Needed: 465 (SMTPS)
